The brand new Grand X series of tractors are here and on their way to a town near you. From October the first Grand X units will be touring the country at Kubota Drive Days.
From the top of New Zealand all the way through to the bottom in a town near you there will be a mix of drive day and evening events to give everyone a chance to see the unit that the rest of the world is raving about.
Inspired by Kubota’s 50 year pedigree in tractor innovation and leading edge technologies, the MGX Series has evolved to deliver class leading levels of power, reliability and performance.
Boasting the largest cab in this horsepower bracket! The B pillar has been removed to allow for better access to the spacious cabin that boasts 4.2m3 of room; the nearest opposition cab is only 3.93m3. The cab has been completely redesigned to focus on not only increasing the operator space and field of view but making the controls more ergonomically positioned for unparalleled operator comfort; the cab has also been raised to provide a higher viewpoint.
The new roof panel allows for better loader visibility and allows more light into the cab. This panel is also adjustable to allow fresh air to flow into the cabin area.
Kubota have also provided an updated and much more comfortable instructors seat which doesn’t impact on cab space when both folded or in use.
The new updated dash and side digital LCD panel provides you with everything you need to know in a central convenient place, with all information clearly displayed.
Strong but Gentle
The Grand X series of tractors is interim Tier 4 compliant; with a Common Rail System tuned for optimum combustion and combined with Exhaust Gas Recirculation and a Diesel Particulate Filter you get better fuel consumption, less engine noise and reduced emissions without compromising the power and efficiency.
Advanced Control Technology
With the Kubota Electronic Management System (K-EMS) and the new 24/24 Intelli-shift transmission which has three ranges of eight powershift gears, coupled with Kubota favourites such as Work Mode, Auto Mode and Work Kruise, you have more control than ever before.
Manoeuvrability and Productivity
Kubota’s patented Bi-Speed turn and bevel-gear front axle work to give you advanced manoeuvrability and better handling in a variety of conditions.
The MGX series offers one of the highest crop clearances in its class and if it’s front suspension you are after, look no further. With an optional factory front suspension on the M135GX, you can be assured of an even smoother ride for both front end loader work and those jobs over rough terrain.
New Kubota Loader
The Kubota manufactured loader is the latest innovation made especially for the new MGX models. With features such as hydraulic self levelling that can conveniently be turned on and off with a simple shift of a lever; standard with Euro Hitch; Kubota strength built in; optional third service; KSR (Kubota Shockless Ride) and hydraulic quick coupling of the hydraulic hoses. The loader control lever is mounted conveniently to the console to keep the floor free of all obstacles including the cables.
